We know we can’t build stronger communities, improve health or tackle climate change alone. That’s why we’ve partnered with a range of organisations to provide the skills and training, access to networks and routes to funding for early-stage start-ups.
Whether you are looking to partner with us individually, or as an organisation, you can get involved with Ingenuity Impact at every stage of the programme.
Nuffield Health
Nuffield Health, the UK’s largest healthcare charity, is the Ingenuity Impact’s platinum partner for 2022 and 2023. Through their sponsorship and investment into businesses, Nuffield Health are supporting Ingenuity Impact start-ups to directly address the UK’s social and environmental challenges to drive change in local communities.
Santander Universities
All students deserve the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their circumstances. Santander Universities UK has spent more than a decade collaborating with a large network of university partners to remove barriers to higher education for students whose ambitions aren’t always matched by their means. Through their support we are able to offer bursaries to low-income students and seed funding to impactful new start-ups.
Abri is one of the largest housing associations based in the south of England. Supporting Ingenuity Impact as a gold partner for 2022 and 2023, Abri will be looking to discover and support ideas that will benefit their customers and residents. They will also be providing funding to the top ideas from our pool of South Coast participants for 2022 and 2023, looking for solutions that can address the key challenges in their priority areas.
Law firm Shakespeare Martineau has committed to support the Ingenuity Impact for the sixth year running, having been involved in the programme since its inception in 2016. Their legal and business development teams provide essential business advice and guidance to Ingenuity businesses at each stage of their start-up journey.
Empiric Student Properties
The Brenda Dean Ingenuity Scholarship Awards acknowledge the achievements and contributions of entrepreneurial women, and future business leaders.
Brenda Dean, Baroness Dean of Thornton-le-Fylde, sadly and suddenly passed away in March 2018. Through conversations between Hello Student as part of Empiric Student Properties, Brenda’s husband Keith McDowall and University of Nottingham, (where Brenda was a Council Member) these scholarships have been brought together. They aim to recognise and remember Brenda by supporting current entrepreneurial women to grow and develop their own successful businesses.
Nottingham Forest Community Trust
Nottingham Forest Community Trust has supported local Ingenuity Impact start-ups since 2019. Their support focuses on connecting businesses with local communities and providing the resources and platform they need to create impact.
Engineers in Business Fellowship
One of the Ingenuity Impact’s first ever partners, the Engineers in Business Fellowship has provided funding and support to engineering and computer science students taking part in the Ingenuity Impact since 2016.
