Welcome to our 2022 Impact Report

Chair's Statement

Simon Mosey

The Ingenuity Programme exists to tackle the UK’s major social and environmental challenges through the creation of impactful new start-ups.

Rooted in the concept of civic entrepreneurship the programme brings together students, graduates, community organisations, universities, local government, corporates and the third sector to develop new start-ups that can create meaningful and significant impact.

2022 Entrepreneur of the year

“I’ve been there – I know what it’s like to be in that kind of situation. And I want to be there for them.”

Powered by her own lived experience, our 2022 Impact Entrepreneur of the Year Keasha Kellam founded Honour Thy Woman, a community support group in that supports domestic abuse survivors in the local area.

She joined the Ingenuity Programme earlier this year, with the aim of building her business knowledge and skillset to turn the volunteer-led group into a financially sustainable social enterprise.
