BaseGap tackles the double disadvantage of young people facing poorly designed homes and public spaces. This social enterprise believes young people aged 14-25 from underprivileged communities deserve inspiring surroundings.
Jade Morgan won the Community Champion prize. BaseGap works with young people, educators, and councils to co-create comfortable and supportive spaces. Through workshops and partnerships, they equip young people with the knowledge and design skills to make tangible change. Launching in South London, BaseGap aims for a ripple effect: empowered youth, improved spaces, and a thriving environment.
